Scratch Super Stars

Our Primary 6 children have been developing their coding skills using Scratch with Miss Cunningham (One of our Strathclyde University volunteers). Miss Cunningham gave them a quiz today to find out what knowledge and skills they were retaining. They were all delighted to share with me that they got full marks.

The children even designed and coded a cloud game which they enjoyed playing ....repeatedly!

STEM challenges

Pupils of all ages have been working hard to develop their STEM skills through a variety of challenges. They have been working with our volunteer students from Strathclyde University each week to learn new skills and have fun!

This terms Science club were exploring forces using balloon rockets.

Safety first with our safety googles - you never know where the rockets may fly!!

Miss Melvin has created a some tricky odd and even Lego challenges.
